Persons Are Arrested
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) investigated multiple reports of theft in the last week, including two on Bobby Mattison Road near the lake. On January 30, the theft of a pit bull, and three camouflage jackets was reported. Prior to that, on January 25, a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee was reportedly taken.
Other thefts included the theft of a saw, toy Nascar cars, and a lock and key set from an address on Brazey Road on January 27, and also that day there was a report of gas being stolen from the Jasper County Senior Center on Hwy. 212 west.
On January 26, deputies were alerted to an incident of financial transaction card fraud, at a hotel in Miami for $538. The previous day, LED lights and a light bar were reported stolen from an address on Concord Road.
Another theft reported goes back to January 23, when a watch, speakers and an amp were taken from an address on Hwy. 16 west.
Persons taken into custody in the last week, and their charges, include:
•Brandon Tylor Gray, 26, Covington—sale of methamphetamine.
•Kaila Marie Anderson, 33, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of Schedule I controlled substance
•Andy Kirk Davis, 34, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of Schedule I controlled substance, sale of methamphetamine and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
•Warren Lamar Finney, 34, Monticello—failure to register as sex offender.
•Kaylin Tulp, 19, Monticello—hold for warrant in Walton Co.
•Mahogany Cache Round-tree, 20, Austell—financial identity fraud, forgery-fourth degree, conspiracy to commit a crime and printing/executing/negotiating fictitious checks.
•Deborah Moger Tinsley, 29, Newborn—possession of methamphetamine.
•Destiny Nicole Moore, 20, Conyers—probation violation.
•David Shane Ward, 24, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, expired license, speeding, tire violation, drug related objects, obstruction of a law enforcement officer, no insurance, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign and defective windshield or windshield wipers.
•Tammy Lynn Bonds, 31, Loganville—possession of methamphetamine, drugs related objects and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Tiffany Lea Michael, 37, Atlanta—hold for warrant in Henry County.
•Roderick Darnell Carter, 39, Monticello—probation violation.
•Glenderick Lamar Stewart, 35, Monticello—probation violation.
•Trenton Lafayette Standifer, Jr., 26, Monticello—probation violation.
•Seth Jackson Crow, 30, Monticello—hit and run; duty of driver to stop at or return to scene of accident, entering or crossing roadway, reckless driving and aggressive driving.
•Stanley Keith Davis, Jr., 34, Decatur—child support.
•Kevin Andrew Wilhite, 31, Monticello—probation violation.
Deputies also responded to some 450 calls for service including more than 100 premises check.
