COC Annual Meeting Is January 24

The Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce (COC) will host its annual membership meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 24, at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center Banquet Hall (Hwy. 11 North and Charlie Elliott Trail in Mansfield – Jasper County).

The theme this year is “All That JAZZ and More.” Social time is from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., dinner is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. and the program is from 7:15 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This year’s entertainment will be provided by the Monticello Community Band, directed by Jehan El-Jourbagy.

The 2016 Business of the Year and 2016 Citizen of the Year will be announced. The 2017 Leadership Jasper Class will be introduced and the 2017 Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will be voted on.

“This is one community event you will want to be sure and attend,” said Chamber President Pam Mayer. Mrs. Mayer would also like to remind everyone that the annual membership meeting is not just for members only, it is open to the community. Everyone is welcome to a fun night of networking and fellowship!

Annual meeting tickets are $25 per person. Beverage tickets can be purchased for $5 two tickets for a glass of beer or wine). A table for eight can be purchased for $200 (includes eight beverage tickets). RSVP’s must be received by January 13.
