Homes Are Burglarized
Two homes, both in the west end of the county were burglarized in the last week.
A home on Kingfisher Court had appliances, tools, flooring, and more taken from it on Tuesday of this week.
Last Friday, a resident reported food, garbage bags and tools missing from a home on Hwy. 212 west, according to a report from the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO).
In addition, both a theft of services and a theft of a boat trailer were reported on Bobby Mattison Road recently.
Persons booked into the Jasper County Detention Center in the past week, and their charges, include:
•Bryan Allen Blankenship, 32, Social Circle—probation violation.
•Kenneth Anthony Thurman, 53, Monticello—criminal trespass and public drunkenness.
•Jessica Ann Stearns, 32, Stockbridge—probation violation.
•Camron Tyler Dennis, 21, Covington—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, reckless driving, fleeing or attempting to elude and no valid insurance.
•Gregory Palm, 38, Milledgeville—giving false name, address or birthday to law enforcement officer.
•Marcus Thomas Lee, Jr., 17, Atlanta—printing/executing/negotiating fictitious checks, conspiracy to commit a felony, theft by taking and forgery-4th degree.
•Ronnie Eugene Goolsby, 51, Monticello—pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
•Patrick Homer Hardy, 51, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine and parole violation.
•Odell Lamar Thurman, 33, Monticello—probation violation.
•Demarcus Arkell Sands, 21, Monticello—obstruction or hindering a law enforcement officer.
•Willie Lee McGuire, III, 26, Monticello—probation violation.
•Jennifer Yvette Green, 40, Shady Dale—damaging, injuring or interfering with property of public utilities.
