Arrests Are Reported
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) had a relatively light week, investigating only one report of theft during the past week.
In that, antique mule-drawn plows and an antique planter were reportedly taken.
Deputies also responded to a report of identity theft, and to a report of counterfeit money. Persons booked into the Jasper County Detention Center in the last week included:

•Adrian Lynn Fillmore, 36, McDonough—criminal use of an article with an altered id, trafficking in cocaine/marijuana/methamphetamine or illegal drugs, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of firearm by a convicted felon, driving while license suspended or revoked and theft by receiving property stolen in another state.
•Harmon Reed Moss, 49, Jackson—probation violation.
•Mark Stephen Gilbert, 35, Mansfield—hold for warrant at Covington Police Department.
•Skyler Andrea Underwood, 18, Locust Grove—possession of methamphetamine and possession of Schedule I controlled substance.
•Kendra Lou Garza, 29, Monticello—possession of Schedule I controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine.
•Jacob Martin Oders, 33, Covington—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.
•Carl Andrew Mahaffey, 49, Monticello—cruelty to children/first degree, simple battery (two counts) and driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Marvis Armel Wyman, 35, Monticello—disorderly conduct.
•Chandler Ryan Donaldson, 17, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, license violation and failure to maintain lane.
•Christopher Bailey Cook, 17, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Walter Mead Carter, 64, Monticello—probation violation.
•Eric Gene Hardwick, 33, Madison—probation violation.
•Jameason Preston Reynolds, 40, Covington—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.
