Six Are Arrested in Operation Hidden Thunder

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office conducted a proactive undercover investigation coordinated by its Criminal Investigations Division and the Crime Suppression Unit where six people were arrested over a two day period beginning last Wednesday, Sept. 14.
The purpose of “Operation Hidden Thunder” was to arrest persons who communicate with children on-line and then travel to meet them for the purpose of having sex. On-line child predators visit websites on the internet, find children, begin conversations with them, introduce sexual content and arrange a meeting with the children for the purpose of having sex. The children these predators target are both boys and girls.
The following are the six individuals that were arrested and their accompanying charges:

•Anirrudh Reddy Saddi, 26, Atlanta—criminal attempt to commit felony- child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child, obscene telephone contact with a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
•Owen Roy Daley, 20, Conyers—criminal attempt to commit felony-child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Mark Kent Mosley, 32, Smyrna—criminal attempt to commit felony- child molestation, computer pornography, and obscene internet contact with a child and obscene telephone contact with a child.
•William Douglas Brooks, 35, Warner Robins—possession of methamphetamine.
•James Randall Spensley, 33, Centerville—criminal attempt to commit felony- child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and possession of methamphetamine.
•Timothy Mark Rogers, 40, Kennesaw—criminal attempt to commit felony-child molestation, obscene internet contact with a child, obscene telephone contact with a child, distributing obscene material, fleeing/attempting to elude police officer, reckless driving, interference with government property, obstruction of a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault upon a law enforcement officer (six counts).
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is an affiliate of the Georgia Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force.
Others arrested this week include:
•Justin Thomas Marling, 22, Newborn—simple assault.
•Joseph Anthony Bentley, 61, Monticello—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, open container and failure to maintain lane.
•Cameron Gene Spradling, 19, Monticello—purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute/or sale of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
•Reagan Alexis Abbott, 21, Monticello—purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute/or sale of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
•Dustin Mitchell Sailors, purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute/sale of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and failure to maintain lane.
•Tyler, Gage Pasco Hall, 21, Madison—purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute/or sale of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
•Felicia Renea Jackson, 48, Monticello—probation violation.
•Williams Cherry Hunter, 67, Monticello—speeding and driving while license suspended or revoked.
•Chesla Michelle Rodriguez, 24, Conyers—child support.
•Amy Michelle Chandler, 35, Jackson—civil contempt order.
•Taylor Greyson Powell, 20, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked and speeding.
•Jillian Michelle Potts, 35, Mansfield—simple battery.
•Mark Anthony Johnson, 28, Mansfield—probation violation.
•Ronald Fredrick Doche, 50, Virginia Beach, Va.—child support.
•Caressa Lenore Jackson, 33, Monticello—contempt of court order.
In addition, The News did not report the arrests made the week of Sept.6-13. Those individuals include:
•Gary Leonard Shipman, 59, Monticello—probation violation.
•Reginald Cordell Sims, 29, Jenkinsburg—probation violation.
•Dominique Rochelle Redd, 26, Mansfield—possession of marijuana less than an ounce, drug related objects and obstruction of a law enforcement officer.
•Carey Lecell Ross, 51, Monticello—aggravated assault and probation violation.
•Malcolm Jamal Smith, 26, Monticello—possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, probation violation, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, and purchase/possess/manufacture/distribution/sale of marijuana.
•Tiffany Leigh Tomlin, 38, Monticello—hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Zachary Lee Wilson, 19, Monticello—hindering apprehension or punishment of a criminal and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Russell Clay Mincy, 57, Monticello—reckless conduct.
•Christopher Miller Labriola, 30, Monticello—probation violation.
•Monta Lamar Goodrum, 42, Griffin—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
•Chelsea Nicole Davis, 23, Newborn—probation violation.
•George Alvin Walker, 63, Monticello—battery, obstruction or hindering persons making emergency telephone call and parole violation.
During the past week, deputies also investigated several reports of burglary or attempted burglary. One reported case was on Hillsboro Street, and another occurred on Spruce Street. Another burglary was reported on Hwy. 212 west, and an attempted burglary was reported on Burney Drive.
