Lady Canes Win Streak Ends

Following an eight game win streak, the varsity Lady Hurricanes’ recent softball streak has headed in the opposite direction with them losing three consecutive games by the margin of only one run.

The squad fell 1-0 to Social Circle Tuesday. The only run scored was in the first inning by the Red Devils. O’Neal Sealy was on the mound. with four strikeouts.

Mackenzie Tripp had one hit, one walk, and three quality at bats (QABs). Lacey Rutledge had one hit, Kenzie Abbott had one walk, and Sealy had two QABs.

Prior to Tuesday’s loss, the ladies fell 1-0 to Walnut Grove, 2-1 to Duluth, and 10-3 at Banks County.
