Two Are Arrested for Meth

Last Wednesday, August 31, 2016, around lunch time, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office, along with state probation officers responded to 881 Forsyth Street to investigate complaints of narcotic sales from that residence, according to a report from the sheriff’s office.

Deputies made contact with the primary resident, James Eric Minnoia. Mr. Minnoia stated no drugs were being sold from his residence.

A search warrant was obtained for the residence. A search of the residence revealed a substantial amount of methamphetamine, a 40 caliber handgun, several glass smoking devices with methamphetamine residue inside, and Xanax pills.

Eric James Minnoia and Kristi Darlene Speegle were both arrested and charged with methamphetamine trafficking, and possession with intent to distribute schedule IV. Mr. Minnoia was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Later that day, about 9 p.m., the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1 Partridge Drive to investigate complaints of marijuana being sold to a juvenile. As deputies made contact with the primary resident, Cedric Bernard Jones, a thick cloud of marijuana smoke boiled out the front door.

Mr. Jones stated to deputies that he had been involved in selling marijuana and confirmed that he did possess a bag of marijuana.

A search revealed a felony amount of marijuana inside the residence.

Mr. Jones was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

In an unrelated incident, a burglary occurred in Shady Dale, where an amount of cash was taken from a residents. A warrant was issued for a suspect in that incident.

•Joseph Clinton Kirkpatrick, 35, Shady Dale—obstruction of a law enforcement officer and criminal trespass.

•Melissa League Harris, 37, Cleveland—probation violation.

•Stanley Lamar Malcom, 42, Social Circle—probation violation.

•Michael Lewis Thomas, 49, Newborn—probation violation.

•Noah Christopher Jackson, 24, Monticello—probation violation.

•Stanley Keith Davis, Jr., 34, Decatur—obstruction of a law enforcement officer and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Matthew Bradley Updike, 17, Shady Dale—simple battery.

•Daniel Alan Oliver, Jr., 31, Monticello—simple battery.

•Tony Perez, 32, Brownsville, Tx.—open container and driving without a license.

•Rosemary Vidal Ponce, 43, Harlingen, Tx.—open container.

•Rose Ann Vidal Gomez, 34, Urbana, Il.—open container.

•Julius Lamar Martin, 32, Riverdale—probation violation.

•Ashford James Deon, 34, Gray—driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Austin James Smith, 20, Milledgeville—operation of unregistered vehicle and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Jatavious taron Durden, 23, Marietta—possession of marijuana less than an ounce and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Norris Eugene Smith, 30, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Reginald Edmond Crawley, 44, Williamson—theft by taking.

•Jeremy Khalib Alford, 19, Versailles, Ky.—tail light violation and driving without a valid license.

•Labarron Cosby Farrar, 38, Monticello—parole violation.
