John Thomas Worrell Sr.

John Thomas Worrell Sr., age 77 of Shady Dale, died Saturday, September 3, 2016.

Mr. Worrell was preceded in death by his parents, Patie and Vesta Worrell; brothers, William ‘Buster’ Daniels, Billie Worrell, sister, Sarah Worrell.

John is survived by his wife, Cindy Worrell; children, Tommy and Robin Worrell, Teresa Worrell, Mike and Wanda Daniels, Norma Reagin Valenzaela, Tracy and Virginia Reagin, Brian Reagin; brother Kenny Worrell; sister, Linda Worrell; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

John was employed with Brown Transportation and later retired from Air Products after 15 years of service. He enjoyed the open road.

His true passion was serving his Lord and his church.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Oct. 1, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with Bro. Ed Westbrook and Dr. Rogers Aikens officiating.
