Grand Jury Returns Indictments

The August term of the Jasper County grand jury convened this week to review a light docket of criminal cases.

The following cases were true billed by the 19-person jury and will be forwarded to Jasper Superior Court.

Tilton J. Feagin, charged with three counts including possession of methamphetamine and two counts of tampering with evidence.

Natasia Leforce, charged with one count of possession of methamphetamine and crossing the guard line with contraband.

Devante Campbell, charged with four counts including two counts of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, and driving on wrong side of roadway.

Christopher Lance Fowler, charged with one count of aggravated assault and one count of false imprisonment.

Lisa Marie Tyndall, charged with three counts including aggravated assault, criminal damage to property in the second degree and driving under the influence.

James Russell, charged with two counts including statutory rape and obstruction of an officer.

Vance Coleman, charged with two counts including obstruction of an officer and disorderly conduct.

Damascus Lynwood, charged with two counts of failure to register as a sex offender.

Michael Loudermilk, charged with one count of incest.

Kyrie Stephens, charged with one count of incest.

Jesse Ruark, charged with one count of aggravated stalking.

C. Neal Williams, charged with one count of criminal damage to property in the second degree.

Desmond R. Willingham, charged with one count of sale of methamphetamine.

The grand jury also determined that bailiff pay should be increased to $75 per day.

They also voted to reappoint LaRue Camp as Member 3 to the Board of Equalization, an Richard Elkins as an alternate member of that board.

The Board of Equalization hears appeals from the Board of Assessors on property tax valuations.
