Early Voting Is Under Way

More than 250 people had voted by Wednesday morning in the run-off election for Chief Magistrate.

Tim Lam and Angie Steele remain in the race for Chief Magistrate, and the run-off election is set for July 26.

Early voting began July 5, and Chief Registrar Carole Norris said they are averaging 40-50 people daily. In addition, 136 absentee ballots have been received.

Early voting continues in the Courthouse from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each weekday through Friday, July 22.

All three county polling places will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26.
