Thefts Reported; Arrests Listed

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) are investigating the theft of firearms in northwest Jasper County that was reported Sunday.

The theft of a pistol and rifle was reported at an address on Landers Way, with a Covington address, but in Jasper County.

Deputies were also called to Dollar General in the last week about someone using a counterfeit bill for a purchase.

In another incident, at a Mansfield address, a resident reported the theft of some blood glucose strips.

•Durell Deonta Thomas, 31, Monticello—probation violation.

•Benjamin Lee Perkins, 35, Monticello—obstruction or hindering persons making an emergency telephone call.

•Trenton Standifer, 25, Monticello—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Demarcus Dewayne Lynwood, 28, Eatonton—failure to register as a sex offender and probation violation.

•Aaron Matthew Nelson, 22, Monticello—driving in violation of limited permit and obedience to authorized person directing traffic.

•Terrance Antonia Bostic, 29, Monticello—probation violation.

•William Danny Crumbley, 35, Monticello—battery.

•Kasey Nicole Walker, 27, Jackson—possession of methamphetamine, fishing without a license and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Tyson Vontavis Dubose, 21, Monticello—passing in a no passing zone and giving false name or address to law enforcement officer.

•Warren Fitzgerald Akins, Jr., 29, Jackson—battery, cruelty to children, third degree, and cruelty to children second degree.

•Jermaine Curry, 29, Macon—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to maintain lane and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Zachary Dylan Ray, 21, Monticello—simple battery.

•Marilyn Ann Armstrong, 44, Monticello—possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and drug related objects.

•Kevin James Harp, 23, Newborn—battery.
