Several Are Sentenced in Court

Jack Wesley Henderson was sentenced to five years of probation for two counts including possession of schedule II controlled substance and crossing the guard line with contraband during Tuesday’s motion day session of Jasper Superior Court presided over by Judge Alison Burleson.

Mr. Henderson had three charges nolle prossed included possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, less than an ounce, and possession of drug related objects. Fined $1,000.

Hunter Ray White was sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and obstruction of an officer. Fined $800.

Several individuals received probation revocations/ modifications during that session including:

Anthony Gunn Underwood, 180 days in Jasper County jail with suspension upon entry into a state probation detention center for 120-180 days for new offense of resisting a public officer in February 2016.

Arlandos Juantrez Grier, 100 days in Jasper County jail with suspension upon entry into a drug and alcohol program for failure to report to probation, failure to pay court fees, failure to complete community service and new offense of driving under the influence in Newton County in January 2016..

Lois Marie Gignac, 99 days revoked to the Jasper County jail with eight days of credit for time served for a new offense of battery in Jasper County in May 2016.

Andrea Frederica Barkley, 58 days in Jasper County jail which will be suspended upon payment of case balance and shall report to jail by May 12 at 5 p.m.

Deneishia Shonta Farley, five days in Jasper County jail with suspension upon payment of case balance by May 13.

Timothy Joel McDaniel, ordered to complete inpatient program at Damascus Road recovery for minimum of two years. He tested positive for drugs in April 2016.
