Alina Jablonski Score at State Track Meet

Lady Hurricane Alina Jablonski placed fifth overall in the 3200 meter run and 11th overall in the 1600 meter run during the Georgia High School Association’s (GHSA) girls state finals competition held last weekend in Albany.

Also competing for the Lady Canes last weekend were Talia Norwood in the 200 meter dash and Kamia Thomas in the 300 meter hurdles.

The Cane boys will begin competing today, May 12 in Albany at the boys section of the GHSA track and field state finals.

Representing the Canes this week at state will be Jay Johnson in the long jump and triple jump; Cameron Davis in the 100 meter dash; Brandon Stewart in the 800 meter run; Stewart will also join John Davis, Malcolm Smith, and Denzel Sands in the 1600 meter relay.
