Early Voting Is Under Way

Early voting for the May 24 primaries and non-partisan election began Monday, at the Jasper County Courthouse, and nearly 100 voters had cast ballots by Wednesday.

Early voting continues from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday through May 20. Polls will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, the official election day.

Saturday voting is available on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Absentee ballots are now available.

Since this is a primary election, voters do have to pick a party—Democrat, Republican or Nonpartisan.
