Several Are Arrested

Jasper County deputies responded to several incidents in the last week, including one where a man claimed his truck and Polaris ATV were missing. However, the incident occurred sometime between December 15, 2015 and this week.

There was another incident with some discrepancy of dates as about $1,000 was taken from a resident sometime between March 2 and March 5. They also responded to a report of shoplifting at Circle K, and a theft of pills at a home.

Lastly, an air conditioning unit was taken from the home of one person on Liberty Church Road. Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

•Kenneth Cody Anderson, 19, Commerce—reckless driving, speeding, fleeing/eluding a law enforcement officer and passing on a hill or curve.

•Blair Adam Wilkes, 31, Loganville—theft by taking.

•Lashonda Monique Burke, 33, Covington—simple battery.

•Samuel Barron Ross, Jr., 25, Macon—child support.

•Calvin Heath Ledford, 22, Hazelhurst—probation violation.

•David Wayne Walker, 49, Monticello—simple battery.

•Melissa League Harris, 36, Cleveland—Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.

•Deshaun Michael Edwards, 22, Monticello–driving while license suspended or revoked and seat belt violation.

•Catherine Thurmond, 54, Monticello–driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to maintain lane.

•Chadwick John Martin Slater, 20, Monticello—failure to stop at stop sign and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

•Chandler Ryan Donaldson, 17, Monticello—drug related objects, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, tampering with evidence and crossing guard lines with weapon/drugs/intoxicants.

•Shana Marie Perez, 22, Monticello—safety restraint violation and driving in violation of a limited permit.

•David Neil Jalbert, 25, Monticello—obscene internet contact with a child and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

•Raymond Carden Goolsby, 56, Monticello—reckless conduct.

•Desmond Rashan Willingham, 27, Monticello—sale of methamphetamine.

•Jackie Ann Banks, 46, Monticello: sale/distribution/or possession of dangerous drugs (two counts), purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute/sale of marijuana and theft by receiving stolen property.

•Alvin Glenn Yates, 20, Monticello—sale of a Schedule III, IV or V controlled substance and probation violation.

•Valeria Annette Cannon, 34, Conyers—sale of methamphetamine.

•Shawn Richard Griffith, 29, Covington—using of communication facility in commission of a felony.

•Anthony Guinn Underwood, 40, Covington—probation violation, parole violation, possession of methamphetamine and possession and use of drug related objects.
