Lady Cougars Soccer Begins

A new soccer season arrived for the Piedmont Academy varsity Lady Cougars in a home match against Creekside Monday afternoon.

Coach Zach Norris said Piedmont “played well” despite a 3-0 setback.

“For it being our very first game of the year, we had a lot of positives,” Norris said. “We also have a couple of things we need to work on.”

The Lady Cougars (0-1) were scheduled to return to the field Wednesday against Lake Oconee Academy at home.

Both the varsity girls and varsity boys will travel to Augusta Prep on Tuesday, March 8, for region matches beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Middle School girls soccer team will host Watkinsville Academy today, March 3 at 4:30 p.m.
