Angela Walsh Seeks Second Term

ANGELA WALSH

Angela Walsh has announced her intent to seek re-election to the post of Jasper County Tax Commissioner this year. She has served in this position since 2013.

Mrs. Walsh grew up in Jasper County, and is a graduate of Jasper County High School. She is married to Michael Walsh and they have two children, Laura, 12, and Tyler, 7. They are members of Monticello Baptist Church.

After graduating from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville she was an Insurance agent at Pound Insurance, and later worked at McIntosh State Bank in Monticello.

“It has been a pleasure to serve the people of Jasper County in the tax office. I have an open door policy, and I aim to always be available to answer any questions or concerns. I have worked to collect delinquent taxes by having regular tax sales, and by setting up payment plans for people who are behind. I have also incorporated online Motor Vehicle renewals and Property Tax payments. ”

“If re-elected I will continue to work with our County Commissioners and other officials. I will perform my duties faithfully and honestly. And I will continue to provide friendly and efficient service that you have come to know and expect from the Tax Office.

“I love Jasper County and am honored and blessed to serve as your Tax Commissioner. I appreciate your support in this new election year.”
