Food Bank Donations Sought

The Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce is again this year volunteering to help the Jasper County Community Food Bank (JCCFB), and needs everyone to j

oin in the promotion. The idea is to fill the window with foodstuffs to be donated to the food bank. The entirely volunteer run food bank serves many families and seniors in Jasper County, and after the holidays, donations slow down typically. All non-perishable food is welcome, and protein-rich canned meats, soups, beans, and meals are especially sought. Canned fruits and vegetables are also appreciated as are all donations.
