Seeral Sentenced in Superior Court

Judge Alison Burleson presided over Jasper Superior Court’s criminal trial calendar which began Monday morning and yielded sentences of predominantly probation for violators.

Offenders and sentences include:

Mark David Ray, sentenced to 12 months probation with first 72 hours in jail for driving under the influence, possession of drug related objects. Fined $600.

Latonya Hallman, sentenced to 12 months probation with the first 72 hours in jail for driving under the influence. Fined $600.

Derrick Dwight Rucker, sentenced to 12 months probation with the first 24 hours in jail for driving while license suspended. Fined $500.

Archie Willis Baker, sentenced to five years of probation for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. Fined $1,000.

Connie Marie Smith, sentenced to five years of probation for possession of cocaine and possession of methamphetamine.

Brandi Marie Long, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine. Fined $800.

Johnny Richard Horton, sentenced to five years of probation for possession of marijuana, more than an ounce, and window tint violation. Fined 1,600.

Adrian Adonis Battle, sentenced to 12 months of probation for loitering and prowling. Fined $300.

Carlos Oneal Norris, sentenced to 12 months of probation for possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. Fined $500.

Jeffery Michael Sullivan, sentenced to 12 months of probation for possession of drug related object and simple battery. Fined $500.

Clinton Brandon Stokes, sentenced to 12 months of probation for possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, and speeding. Fined $600.

Kasey Nichole York, sentenced to 12 months probation for reckless conduct and discharge of gun near highway of street. Fined $400.

Rodney Andrew Snow, sentenced to 12 months of probation for disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. Fined $500.

Kenny Leon Strickland, sentenced to 12 months of probation for simple battery and hindering emergency telephone call. Fined $500.

Jesse Hunter Pope, sentenced to 12 months of probation for possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. Fined $300.

Carlos Dontae Jackson, sentenced to 12 months of probation for possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. Fined $500.

Michael Logan Jepsen, sentenced to 12 months of probation for theft by taking. Fined $500.

Randy Eugene Deagle, sentenced to 12 months probation for simple battery and disorderly conduct. Fined $200.

Charles Justin Grier, sentenced to 12 months probation for possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. Fined $500.

Mark Anthony Johnson, sentenced to 12 months of probation for disorderly conduct. Fined $500.

Anthony Guinn Underwood, sentenced to three years of probation for theft by receiving stolen property. Fined $500.

Ricky Dale Johnson, sentenced to three years of probation with entry into substance abuse treatment program in lieu of confinement. Fined $1,000.

James Bret Alexander, sentenced to confinement in state penal system until February 2018 and ordered to pay restitution of $1,702 to Jasper County Sheriff’s Office for failing to register as a sex or violent offender in Indiana.
