Amanda Nicole Ross

Homegoing services for Ms. Amanda Nicole Ross were held Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at noon at Greenwood Baptist Church.

Ms. Amanda “Nicole” Ross was born on March 5, 1984 in Eatonton, to Mrs. Andrea Lynn Ross Hurt. Nicole was a fun-loving person who lived life to the fullest. On the 25th of October, God sent his angels to claim his beloved child.

At an early age, Nicole joined Shiloh Baptist Church in Milledgeville. She attended Jasper County Comprehensive School, where she made many friends along the way, many of which she was still close to until the very end. Her infectious smile made her the life of every party. Nicole truly loved her family. Every opportunity was a good opportunity to barbeque and to have a good time with as many family members as possible; this was her opportunity to incorporate her love of the outdoors, games, and her furry babies: Boomer, Star & Kinky.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, J.B. Ross, and her uncle, Tracey Ross.

She leaves to cherish, honor, and continue her memory her greatest joy, her four children, Ashunti Mitchell, Dumir Williams, Damya Williams and Kaden Evans; her mother, Andrea (Bruce) Hurt; a loving grandmother, Jessie P. Ross; one brother, Gerald (Queaira) Brown; one sister, Jessica Ross; God-mother, Viola Yarbrough; two nieces, Kaniyah Bennett and Yasmine Brown; two nephews, Zaiden Brown and Cherrique Goodrum; a group of very special friends, Victor Evans, Nikia Sands, LaRobb Stones, Quay Scott, Ericka Andrews, Jemaria Hunt, Brittney Stokes, Janiese Standifer, Ardrecus Banks and Janesha Evans; a devoted family friend, Jerry Brown, who helped raise Nicole from birth; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Curry & Derricho Funeral Home, Inc. 111 Venture Court, Monticello, Ga. 31064. Call 706-468-5550.
