Jacquelyn “Jackie” Sue Smith Fullerton

Jacquelyn “Jackie” Sue Smith Fullerton, age 67, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at the Regency Hospital in Macon.

Jackie Fullerton was born in Macon, to the late Harry Smith and Lillian Parker Smith. After marriage in 1969, she moved to Hillsboro. She attended Hillsboro Baptist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher.

Jackie Fullerton enjoyed collecting “Gone with the Wind” paraphernalia; and watching sports on the television. She served as past vice president of the Hillsboro Community Center.

Before retirement, Jackie worked as an oral technician for 42 years for Boone Orthodontics. After retirement, she worked for Dairy Queen for eight years.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Fullerton of Hillsboro; son, Chad Fullerton of Hillsboro; and sisters, Barbara Judd of Macon, and Beverly Gill of Warner Robins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at 2 p.m., at the Hillsboro Baptist Church in Hillsboro. Interment will be held in Fullerton Memorial Gardens in Hillsboro. Rev. Lane Sanders will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Fullerton, Charles Turner, Preston Wynens, Randy England, Joe Brown, Donnie Marshall and Wayne Greene. Honorary pallbearers will be Danny McBroom, Thurman Willis, and Randy Mason.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at Jordan Funeral Home.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Hillsboro Baptist Church c/o Sara Darity, Treasurer, P. O. Box 86, Hillsboro, Ga. 31038.
