Stanley Willie Robinson

Stanley Willie Robinson, age 67, of Monticello, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.

Stanley was born in Rockmart, Ga., to the late Starling Robinson and Vera Evans Robinson. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Before retirement, he was an electrician for the Georgia Pacific Corporation.

Along with his parents, sister and brother, Brenda Baines and Dewayne Robinson preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Laurie Robinson of Monticello; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Paul Thomas of Perry; grandchildren, Will Robinson, Kate Robinson, and Ethan Thomas; and brothers and sister, Glenn Robinson of Rockmart, Edward Robinson of Rome, and Shirley Cooper of Albany.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m., Friday, October 9, 2015, at Jordan Funeral Home, 264 Hillsboro Street, Monticello, Ga. 31064.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers donations be made to the ML&J Fund P.O. Box 308 Monticello, GA 31064.
