FFA Alumni Plan Buck Contest

The Jasper County FFA Alumni will host a one day only Big Buck contest on Saturday, Oct. 17. Check in time will be 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. at the Monticello Farm and Garden.

Cost is $25 per ticket which includes a meal. Concessions will be available during check in. Prizes include a shoulder mount donated by DD’s Taxidermy and gift cards donated by Bass Pro Shop, Academy Sports, Deer Processing by Hollifield’s and more.

The categories will include Largest Buck, Largest Youth Buck (under 16 years of age), Fifth Largest Buck, Longest Spike. Official Boone and Crockett Scorers from the Dept. of Natural Resources will be on site measuring the deer.

Tickets must be purchased prior to opening day and can be purchased from Town N Country, Monticello Farm and Garden or any FFA or Alumni member.
