Several Are Sentenced
Jasper Superior Court Judge William Prior, Jr. sentenced Lucious Marcus Odom, Jr. to two years in confinement for a negotiated guilty plea on the charge of possession of firearm by a convicted felon.
He was nolle prossed on four other charges and given credit for time served since June 2014.
Other cases reviewed and sentenced by Judge Prior during a motion day last Tuesday, included the following:
Christopher W. Jones, sentenced to 12 months in Jasper County jail on five charges including reckless driving, hit and run, driving on improper registration, violation of duty upon striking fixed object, and no proof of insurance. He was nolle prossed on three other charges and given credit for time served since December 2014.
Larandy S. Gotel, sentenced to 12 months on probation for criminal trespassing. Fined $400.
Christian Blair Mason, sentenced to three years on probation for possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,000.
Tommy Lee Kell, sentenced to 12 months on probation for improper burning. Fined $400.
Grant Christopher Gierman, sentenced to 12 months on probation for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Fined $400.
Laura Jean Ramey, sentenced to 12 months on probation for pedestrian under the influence of alcohol and drugs not in original container. Fined $200.
Emoline Celeste Lockhart, sentenced to 12 months on probation for possession of marijuana, less than an ounce. Fined $400.
Jeffrey Olice Lake, sentenced to five years on probation for two counts of possession of methamphetamine and two counts of simple battery. Fined $1,500.
Shirley Wise Benton, sentenced to 12 months on probation for public drunkenness. Fined $200.
Jeremy Bryan Robinson, sentenced to 12 months on probation for battery. Fined $400.
Abbie M. Jackson, sentenced to 12 months on probation for giving false information to a law enforcement officer. Fined $400.
Tommy Hulland Wyatt, sentenced to 12 months probation for disorderly conduct. Fine $150.
Lois Marie Gignac, sentenced to 12 months on probation. Fined $75..
