Shiloh Knights Play Volleyball

The Shiloh Christian Academy Lady Knights varsity volleyball team played host to the Lady Lions of Trinity Prep of Loganville last Thursday.

This was the second match between to the two region teams and the competition was much closer this time around. The Lady Knights started Natlie Raines, Joselyn Edge, McKenzie Love, Kaitlyn Coe and Elizabeth Curtis for game one.

With the Lady Lions serving first and using strong offense, the Knights found themselves in an early hole which ultimately was too deep to overcome, losing the first game 25-15.

However, game two was a different story with the Knights taking the win 25-15 and pushing the match at a game a piece. McKenzie Tolbert was a defensive threat with a few blocks and kills close to the net. Kaitlyn Coe also added some critical aces from serve to even the match.

Games three and four belonged to the Lady Lions. They had the Knights on their heels for the rest the match. With a few injuries that left the team limited on the bench, the Knights were unable to capitalize on game two momentum.
