Cynthia Miller Seeks Council Post

Cynthia Miller has qualified for the Monticello City Council District 1, Post 2 seat to be determined in the November 3 general election.

Mrs. Miller is a a wife and mother, and she says, “I am ready to help our community turn the page and bring new conversation to the table.

“My vision and desire for the city of Monticello is for all people, regardless of race or culture, to work together to address issues that affect us as a community. Together we can help our community to continue to grow and prosper while maintaining our small town charm,” said Mrs. Miller.

“Monticello is a special community that has been home for my husband Reverend Miller and myself for the past 18 years. I have three adult children; one is married and two are currently attending college. I’m a member of Monticello Presbyterian Church and also serve as a missionary at Cedine Bible Camp in Tennessee.”

She is a graduate of Georgia Perimeter College with a degree in Business Administration, a graduate of Central Georgia Technical College with a degree in Business Management and will be graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mercer University in December 2015. Currently, she works in the finance department of the Putnam County Board of Commissioners.

“I am seeking office for District 1 of the Monticello City Council because I care about this district and the community as a whole. I want to ensure that the people’s interests are well represented in District 1 and I will do so with integrity and professionalism.

“I am Cynthia Miller and I ask for your support and vote on November 3, 2015.”
