Arrests Are Made for Sexual Battery, Drugs

Patricia Mize, 32, of Oxford was arrested Saturday night and charged with possession of methamphetamine w/intent to distribute and crossing the guard lines with a controlled substance. Ms. Mize was an occupant of a vehicle that was stopped on Hwy 212. Ms. Mize had attempted to hide her narcotics in her undergarments but two of the bags were apparent to deputies on the roadside and a third was found at the detention center.

Devin Raymond Fowler, 19, Monticello was arrested for theft by taking after deputies investigated the report of a burglary on South Blackwell Road.

No arrests have been made yet in two other thefts investigated by the sheriff’s office during the last week. One of those was the theft of a Dodge Viper from an address on Hwy. 142 in Newborn, and the other was a financial transaction card theft reported on Whispering Pines Drive, also in Newborn.

Another arrest made in the last week was that of Skipper Lee Richardson, 29, of Shady Dale who is charged with sexual battery against a child under 16 years of age, enticing a child for indecent purposes and child molestation.

•Michelle Lynn Hart, 46, Monticello — driving while unlicensed.

•Damien Kinte Gotel, 35, Covington—fleeing or attempting to elude a law enforcement officer, failure to stop for stop sign, obstruction of a law enforcement officer (two counts), driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Angela Kay Andrews, 49, Warner Robins — financial identity fraud (three counts) and Jasper County Superior Court bench warrant.

•Nicole Starr Anderson, 27, Shady Dale—probation violation.

•Cynthia Bernice Martinez, 36, Monticello—theft by taking.

•Maxwell Jerry Lee Wells, 17, Monticello—simple battery.

•Kathleen Ann Schwartz, 52, Mansfield — disorderly conduct.

•Carlos Dontan Jackson, 28, Monticello—failure to maintain lane and possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Emily Anne Hudson, 22, Milledgeville—possession of Schedule IV drugs (two counts), speeding and drugs not in original container.

•Ardrecus Rashard Banks, 34, Monticello—open container, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving while license suspended or revoked and weaving over roadway.

•Cynthia Bernice Martinez, 36, Monticello—influencing a witness.

•Stanley Delano Hash, Jr., 51, Covington—probation violation.

•Holly Rene Hancock, 30, Jonesboro—possession of marijuana less than an ounce.

•Cody Lashawn Carter, 23, Monticello—probation violation.

•Andrew Michael Schulte, 28, Riverdale—probation violation.

•Jermangelo Antrell Thomas, 32, Monticello—obstruction of an officer, giving false name or address to law enforcement officer, no license on person and driving while license suspended or revoked.

•Masakama Awan Cooper, 39, Smyrna—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and headlight violation.
