Stephanie Chaney Qualifies for Council

Stephanie Chaney has announced her intention to run for Monticello City Council, District 2, Post 2.

Mrs. Chaney and her family moved to Monticello a year ago after serving in the military for six years.

“We have fallen in love with this community and the people in it,” said Mrs. Chaney. “Since moving here I have volunteered at the Monticello -Jasper County Chamber of Commerce organizing children’s activities each week, and also at the primary school when I am able to.”

“I look forward to representing the citizens of the community and continuing to make this a safe and enjoyable community to live in,” she said.

Mrs. Chaney was born in Texas, and home schooled. The Chaneys live on Conner Street in Monticello.
