Judge Wingfield Approves Sentences
Numerous offenders were sentenced July 7 in Jasper Superior Court, presided over by Judge Hugh Wingfield, III, which made for a lengthy day in court and busy traffic on the Square.
Those appearing in court, and their sentences include:
Anthony Eugene Parker, sentenced to 90 days in jail for a charge of simple battery, family violence.
Kytrone Ramon Williams, sentenced to 90 days in probation detention center for obstruction of an officer.
Marvin Collier Stinson, sentenced to 24 hours in jail and remainder of 12 months on probation for driving under the influence and obstruction of an officer, fined $500.
Antonio Dwayne Dumas, sentenced to four years probation for two counts of obstruction of an officer and pedestrian under the influence, fined $1,000. He also received 12 months probation for another case involving obstruction of an officer and public drunkenness.
Timothy Justin Willis, sentenced to 24 months probation for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects, fined $600.
Andrea Frederica Barkley, sentenced to 12 months probation for obstruction of an officer, fined $500.
Phillip Paul Francisco, sentenced to 12 months probation for disorderly conduct and obstruction of an officer, fined $400.
Robert Whidby, sentenced to 12 months probation for loitering and prowling, fined $100.
Richard Lee Williams, sentenced to 12 months probation for possession of marijuana, fined $500.
Sheila Roselle Dennis, sentenced to 12 months probation for hindering apprehension of a criminal and possession of marijuana, fined $400.
Marchinlo Alexander Wyman, sentenced to 12 months probation for possession of marijuana, fined $400.
Darnell Pennaman, sentenced to 12 months probation for possession of marijuana, fined $400.
Shane Dean Spires, sentenced to 12 months probation for terroristic threats, fined $200.
Marion Sands, sentenced to six months probation for affray, fined $300.

Probation modification included:
Mara Davis, to serve 90 days in jail for positive drug test in March 2015, failure to complete community service, attend hearing, and make consistent payments.
Shannon Raquel Robinson, to serve nine days in jail for new charges of making false report of a crime and simple battery in June 2015.
Rocky Delee, 90-180 days in probation detention center for failure to abide by inmate handbook and complete detention center program.
Anthony Parker, 180 days in probation detention center for new offense of simple battery against previous victim in September 2014.
Stephen Perry Wilkerson, 180 days in probation detention center for new offense of perjury, positive drug testing, failure to complete community service and attend hearing.
Christopher James Christian, given until the end of July to pay balance of court fees or report to jail.
