Mary Anne Morgan Silvis

Ms. Mary Anne Morgan Silvis, age 72 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at The Gardenias Assisted Living Facility in Hampton.

Ms. Silvis was born October 25, 1942. She was a member of St. George’s Episcopal Church and the Monticello Garden Club. Ms. Silvis was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She volunteered at the Monticello-Jasper County Chamber of Commerce.

Ms. Silvis was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Mary Jones Morgan.

Survivors include her son, Scott Silvis of Griffin; grandson, Ryan Silvis of Griffin; sister-in-law, Bonnie Haas of San Diego, CA and nieces, Colleen Murdock, Sherry Harwood and Sydney Murdock all of San Diego, CA.

A memorial service for Ms. Mary Anne Morgan Silvis will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2014 at 2 p.m. at St. George’s Episcopal Church.
