Cougar Golfers Win

Piedmont Academy’s golf team defeated Flint River 187-228 last week.

Payden Cantera led the team with a low round of 43. Chandler Burrell and P.J. Leonetti both had a round of 46 while Preston Tyler finished at 52. Last Thursday’s match was the home debut for 2015 at Hunter Pope Country Club for the Piedmont golf team, coached by Michael Wilson.

Golf team members this season include Cantera, Burrell, Leonetti, Tyler, Zach Beggs, Hunter Pope and Alex Perry.
