Bass Club Participates in Tourneys

The Jasper County High School Bass Club has competed at multiple tournaments over the past month.

On February 28, a tournament was held on Jackson Lake with the weigh in held a Barry’s Boat Dock. Dylan Bledsoe won the event with one fish weighing 2.81 pounds.

Also in attendance were Hope Adkins, Chad Cain, Kody Camp, Caleb Cobb, Bailey Cook, Brelan Crowe, Chasen Edge, Andrew Lentini, and Jesse Wilkerson. The adult boaters were Greg Clark, Jeff Fuss, Barry Hooper, and Chris Wragg.

This past Saturday, the club held a tournament on a private pond in Hillsboro. Bledsoe also won that event with five fish weighing 10.17 pounds. One of his five weighed an astounding 7.16 pounds.

Hope Adkins placed second with five fish weighing 5.31 lbs, Bailey Cook was third with five fish weighing 3.7 lbs, Caleb Cobb and Andrew Lentini both ended up with one fish each.
