Betty Frank Tumlin Williams

Betty Frank Tumlin Williams, age 79, formerly of Monticello, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, Georgia.

Betty Williams was born in Madison, to the late Curtis Frank Tumlin and Julia Byrd Teagle Tumlin.

She attended West Georgia College for a couple of years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and a former member of Eastern Star.

Her husband, James Harold Williams, and son, William Frank Williams preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Huanne Williams of Madison; grandson and spouse, Alan and Kimberly Williams; step-grandchildren, Jamie Rutledge and Phillip Brown, and Michael Jones; great-grandchildren, Cade Williams and Mason Williams; and brother and sister-in-law, Jackie and Gail Tumlin of Nahunta, Ga.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 13, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Newborn. Rev. Mike Jorgenson will officiate.
