Musician To Perform Friday

Joshua Jacobson will be performing his rendition of the Piedmont Area Blues tomorrow, Feb. 27 at Thomas Persons Hall beginning at 7 p.m.

The professional counselor is an authentic acoustic blues musician during his down time. Some of his musical influences include Billie Holiday, Blind Willie Johnson, Cat Stevens, Eric Clapton, Willie Nelson, Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, and many others.

Mr. Jacobson has performed with artists Alvin Youngblood Hart, Bill Sheffield, Cora Mae Bryant, Cootie Stark, Danny “Mudcat” Dudeck, Ross Pead, and Sean Costello amongst others.

A few of the festivals he has performed at include The Chicago Blues Festival 2000, Mississippi Valley Blues Festival (IA) 2002, Low Country Blues Festival (SC) 2003, and the Atlanta Blues Review 2000.
