Cane Boys Exit State Plsyoffs
The Monticello Hurricane boys’ basketball team didn’t make it to the second round of Georgia High School Association’s state play-off action after a 63-40 loss at Harlem High School February 18.
“I’m proud of the players for getting over the hump and making it to the state tournament,” said head coach B.J. Thomas.
“De’Miria [Glover] not being in the line-up really hurt us against Harlem. Next year I just hope we can build on this year’s progress and improve. Many thanks to the entire community for welcoming my family and supporting the program.”
