Monticello News Office Has Moved

IT’S OFFICIAL—WE’VE MOVED! And actually this is the second month that we have been at 247 West Washington Street, the new home of The Monticello News.

If you know where we were before, we’re not hard to find. It’s right next door. And we have a lot more room, but we are still trying to get settled in. And, signage is definitely lacking.

But, we’re working on it. And, we’re trying to get settled (unpacked) so we can have an open house and everyone can come see the old restaurant turned into a newspaper office.

It really looks quite different even though we saved as much as was practical in any way. The floors have been sanded and varnished, and are the original wood floors that come with a building that dates back to the middle 1800s.

The old kitchen was torn off, and we have a break area where the serving line used to be. And, more has changed, and some has remained the same. Come see us, or wait for the open house. But, if you need us…you’ll find us at 247 West Washington Street.
