Peggy Jo Presley

Peggy Jo Presley, 76, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at a local nursing facility.

Memorial services were held Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home. Rev. John McDuffie officiated.

Mrs. Presley was born December 6, 1938, in Cochran and had lived in Hillsboro the past 12 years. She was the daughter of the late Osbourne Jamerson Sapp and Ruby Amerson Sapp. She worked as a bookkeeper for Conyers Middle School. She served as a member and president of the P.T.A. for many years in Rockdale County and was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church.

Mrs. Presley is survived by her loving husband: Jim Presley; son and daughter-in-law: James and Amy Presley; daughter and son-in-law: Jackye and Scott Bowen; sister: Frankye Dyal; brother: Wayne Sapp; and by her grandchildren: Ansley Bowen, Ashlyn Bowen, Chandler Presley and Clay Presley.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to Hillsboro Baptist Church, P.O. Box 86, Hillsboro, GA 31038 or Loraine Dumas Outreach Ministry, c/o Gayle Marsh, 150 Sugar Hill Road, Hillsboro, GA 31038.
