Sean Michael Bowles

Sean Michael Bowles, age 37, of Monticello, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at his residence.

Sean Michael Bowles was born in Washington, D.C. He lived in Maryland for a number of years before moving to Monticello 10 years ago.

Sean Bowles served four years in the Marines and four years in the Coast Guard before working for the Department of Defense as a contractor in Afghanistan, Iraq, and other locations in the Middle East.

Sean loved motorcycles, and was a master Scuba Diver. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a big supporter of the military.

He owned and operated Bull Dog Gym in Monticello.

A brother, Shelby Stephen Bowles, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his sons, Logan Stephen Bowles and Ian Bowles; and parents, Shelby Lee Bowles and Susie Ann Coburn Bowles of Monticello.

The family will receive friends Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Monticello Baptist Church. Interment will be held at a later date at Trinity Memorial in Waldorf, Maryland.
