Mary Louise Steil

Mary Louise Steil, 93, of Zanesville, Ohio passed away Friday, Dec. 26, 2014 at The Oaks at Northpointe.

She was born March 16, 1921 in Zanesville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Glen and Luella Leffler Williamson.

She was a life-long member of Market Street Baptist Church, the Historical Society, Zane Grey Old Car Club, and DAR. A 1938 graduate of Lash High School, she was employed by McGraw Edison for 19 years.

She is survived by her son, Rex Parker Steil of Zanesville, Ohio; daughters, Mary Luella Steil of Gray, Ga., Zephyer Lee Baker of Zanesville, Ohio, Roxanna May (Stephen) Cargile of Monticello, Ga., and Glenna Jo (Gene) Gibbens of Toronto, Canada; brother, J. Claude Williamson of Wayland, Mass.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Edward “Bud” James Steil, who passed away May 6, 2004 and two brothers, Paul and Wayne Williamson.

Friends may call Monday, Dec. 29, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, Zanesville, Ohio. . Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at Market Street Baptist Church with Pastor Scott Johnston officiating. Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
