Students Attend Youth Assembly at Capitol

The State YMCA of Georgia held its 70th Youth Assembly recently at the Capitol in Atlanta, and Piedmont Academy had several students in attendance.

Andrew Mitchell served as Youth Governor, and Abigail Hyde was co-editor of the conference newspaper, Youth Assembly News. At the Youth Governor’s luncheon, Piedmont alumni Trisha Yearwood-Brooks and Beth Yearwood-Bernard were honored guests and presented the “Y-Club Distinguished Alumni” award to former members of Y-Club.
