Tommy Herbert

Thomas Alan Herbert, age 61, of Monticello, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014 at his residence.

He was born in Griffin, September 9, 1953 son of the late Thomas Clyde Herbert and Hilda Prickett Herbert. Tommy was a retired employee of Georgia Power Company with 30 years service. He was a former Jaycee and enjoyed hunting.

Survivors include his children, Tatum Herbert, Sarah Herbert, Ashley Wilson and Amy Batts; grandchildren, Kipton Crawford, Erika Wilson, Jordyn Wilson and Ronnie Batts, sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Wilson Bush, brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Debbie Herbert.

A memorial service for Thomas Alan Herbert were held Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 in the chapel of Haisten Funeral Home in Jackson. Dr Ed Hoard officiated.
