Janice Lynn Ramey

Janice Lynn Ramey, age 63, of Newborn, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at her residence.

Janice Ramey was born in Fulton County to the late Thomas Woodrow Lynn and Opal Mae Folds Lynn. Before moving to Jasper County as a teenager, she lived in Suwannee, Ga.

She owned and operated Shane’s One Stop in Newborn. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wade Lynn, and sister, Barbara Lynn.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shane and Charles White of Newborn; son, Shannon and Brittney Balderas of Newborn; grandchildren, Bryson Balderas and Naomi White; sister, Melinda Griffith of Mansfield and special friend, Joseph Battle of Newborn.

The family suggests donations to Abbey Hospice, 215 Azalea Court, Social Circle, Ga., 30025.
