Two Are Chosen as All-Stars

Piedmont Academy’s Mac Brittain and Malcom Tyler have been chosen for the 2014 GISA All-Star baseball game.

The nine-inning contest will be at Mercer University this Saturday at 2 p.m. One team comprised of players from Class A and Class AA schools will compete against a team of players from Class AAA programs.

Tyler and Brittain both helped the Piedmont Academy Cougars win the Class AA state title this spring. The two graduated recently.

Piedmont coach Danny Camp said the team’s banquet would likely be later this summer to allow time for patches and rings to be ordered.
