Several Plea in Court
Dustin Lee Raynor was in Jasper Superior Court Tuesday, with Judge L. A. McConnell, Jr., presiding, where he pleaded guilty to the charge of obstruction of an officer of the law, and was sentenced to serve 120 days in the county jail.
Also, the following seven probation revocation/modification were processed as presented below:
•Dean Gordon Dunfee, who was on probation for the charge of burglary, was found to have violated his probation via the new charges of two counts of criminal trespass, two counts of theft by taking, failure to report, failure to pay court ordered fines and fees and purchase/possession/manufacture/distribution or sale of marijuana. Mr. Dunfee was sentenced to the balance of his probation in the state penal system.
•Troy Lee Dowdy, who was on probation for the charges of possession of meth and driving with a suspended license, was found to have violated his probation via the new charges of driving while license suspended or revoked, acquiring license plate for purpose of concealing ID, testing positive for meth, failure to comply with treatment as directed and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees. Mr. Dowdy was sentenced to serve 240 days in the county jail and upon release return to regular probation.

•Jerry H. Brown, who was on probation for the charges of four counts of assault and criminal damage to property, was found to have violated his probation via the new charges of failure to report and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees. Mr. Brown was sentenced to pay $1,500 within 60 days, and failure to do so will result in 180 days in the county jail suspended upon entry into a probation detention center for 90-120 days, and upon release return to regular probation.
The men did not monopolize the court calendar, with the following four women having their probation revoked:
•Mary Ann Cleveland, who was on probation for the charge of sale of hydrocodone, was found to have violated her probation via the new charges of failure to report, failure to pay court ordered fines and fees and changing address without providing notice. Ms. Cleveland was sentenced to 180 days in the county jail, suspended upon entry into a probation detention center for 90-120 days, and upon release be returned to regular probation.
•Alicia Cates, who was on probation for the charges of insurance fraud and giving false statements, was found to have violated her probation via the new charges admitting to smoking marijuana, failure to report, failure to complete community service and failure to make consistent payments on fines and fees. Ms. Cates was sentenced to 180 days in the county jail, suspended upon entry into a probation detention center for 60-90 days, and upon release be returned to regular probation.
•Stacy E. Thrash, who was on probation for the charge of sale of alprazolam, was found to have violated her probation via the new charges of failure to report, failure to attend mental health treatment and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees. Ms. Thrash was sentenced to 180 days in the county jail, suspended upon entry into a probation detention center for 60-90 days, and upon release be returned to regular probation.
•Bridget Leigh Clark, who was on probation for the charges of theft by taking and giving false name, was found to have violated her probation via the new charges of failure to report and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees. Ms. Clark was sentenced to serve the balance of her probation (57 days) in the county jail with credit for 15 days already served, and upon release and payment of $215 probation to be terminated.
In addition, bond was denied in a hearing for Damian Cloud, who is charged with statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and child molestation.
