Vote Early this Saturday
Secretary of State Brian Kemp wants to remind Georgians of the mandatory Saturday early voting this coming Saturday, May 10.
The Jasper County Courthouse will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for early voting Saturday.
“Every Georgian should have the opportunity to vote in the May 20th Primary Election,” said Kemp. “The good news is that it is easier than ever to vote early. Georgians have the opportunity to vote early this Saturday at locations across Georgia.”
Regular early voting will continue till Friday, May 16. That takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each week day in the basement of the Courthouse.
Georgians can locate early voting locations in their county of registration at the following link: http://www.mvp.sos.ga.gov. In Jasper County, all early voting is done at the courthouse.
The “My Voter Page” (MVP) app also allows Georgia voters with tools. They can view their specific sample ballot, find their polling locations, check their voter registration status and track the status of their absentee ballot. All of this information is available on mobile devices on Apple and Android platforms. To find the app search for “GA Votes” in the app store.
Brian Kemp has been Secretary of State since January 2010. Among the office’s wide-ranging responsibilities, the Secretary of State is charged with conducting secure, accessible and fair elections, the registration of corporations, and the regulation of securities and professional license holders.
