Several Plea in Superior Court
Thomas Bert Line was in Superior Court Monday, with Judge William A. Prior Jr., presiding, and Mr. Line pleaded guilty to the charges of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a public school and two counts of distribution of marijuana.
He was sentenced to 10 years with the first 150-180 days to be served in a state probation detention center and the remainder to be served on probation, and to pay fines and fees of $2,780.
Other defendants who pled guilty during this session of court are posted below along with charges and sentences:
•Quan Dameon Middlebrooks to possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, obstruction of an officer and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute—sentenced to eight years with 150-180 days to be served in a state probation detention center and the remainder on probation, and to pay fines and fees of $2,780.
•Richard Louis Rodriguez to possession of marijuana with intent to distribute—sentenced to six years with 120-180 days to be served in a state probation detention center and the remainder on probation, and to pay fines and fees of $2,780.

•Jacob Lee Holland to sale of methamphetamine—sentenced to six years with 90-120 days in a state probation detention center and the remainder on probation, and to pay fines and fees of $2,730.
•Mara Davis aka Mara Wilkerson to possession of methamphetamine and manufacturing marijuana—sentenced to five years to be served on probation and to pay fines and fees of $2,730.
•Stephen Perry Wilkerson to possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing marijuana and criminal use of an article with an altered identification mark—sentenced to five years to be served on probation and to pay fines and fees of $2,730.
•David Luke Maughon to possession of schedule II and schedule III controlled substances—sentenced to three years on probation and to pay fines and fees of $980.
•Kristin Emerald Rogers to possession of schedule II and schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, obstruction of an officer and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor—sentenced to seven years with 120-180 days to be served in a state probation detention and the remainder on probation, with the 120-180 days to be served suspended as long as the defendant continues to provide clean drug tests through DFACS and abides by all the other terms and conditions of probation. Mr. Rogers was also ordered to pay fines and fees of $1,855.
•Lonnie Charles Miller to driving without a license, giving false information to a law enforcement officer and violation of railroad crossing statue—sentenced to six months to be served on probation and to pay fines and fees of $140.
•Lori Christine Straka to habitual violator and failure to maintain lane—sentenced to five years to be served on probation and to pay fines and fees of $2,003.
•Kevin Andrew Wilhite to possession of marijuana less than one ounce—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and to pay a fee of $5.
•Teresa Marie Schwartz to public drunkenness—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and to pay fines and fees of $545.
•Dana Elliott Neill to disorderly conduct—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and to pay fines and fees of $545.
•Matthew John Duchaine to operation of unregistered vehicle and improper turn signals—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation and to pay fines and fees of $278.
•John Zachary Alexander to misdemeanor possession of marijuana—sentenced to 12 months to be served on probation.
Other actions taken during this session of court include the following:
•Kevin Anthony Guitierrez was granted an Order of Pretrial Diversion under which the charge of terroristic threats would be Nolle Prosequi (not prosecuted) providing the defendant completes satisfactory performance of the conditions of the order.
•Milissa Moon and Agustin Cano failed to appear to answer charges and bench warrants were issued for their arrest.
•Forty-three other cases were continued.
In addition, on Tuesday in Superior Court, with Judge E Trenton Brown, III, presiding, the following two cases were processed:
•Robert Chandler, who was on probation for conviction on the charge of possession of cocaine in August of 2010, was found to have violated the terms and conditions of his probation via the new charges of testing positive for cocaine and failure to pay court ordered fines and fees.
Mr. Chandler was sentenced to serve 60 days in the county jail and upon release will be given 60 days to pay $500. If he fails to do so he will be ordered to return to the county jail and serve an additional 60 days.
•Michael Oneal Lyons, who was on probation for conviction on the charge of public drunkenness in February of 2014, was found to have violated his probation via a new charge of public drunkenness on or about April 11, 2014. Mr. Lyons was sentenced to serve 60 days in the county jail and upon release return to probation.
