Gladys Louise Rozier Wilson
Gladys Louise Rozier Wilson, 61, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.
She was born in Jesup, raised in Townsend, and had lived in Texas before moving to Monticello 36 years ago. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Purdom and Clyde Rozier, and siblings, James Rozier, Betty Jean McNair, Dan Rozier, and Sarah Gordon.
Survivors are her husband of 36 years, Steve Wilson of Monticello; daughter and son-in-law, Brandie Giroux and Kris of Braselton; son and daughter-in-law, Kenny Bridges and Sharon of Killeen, TX; sisters, Ruby “Doll” Lee, Margie Davis and Ann Cribbs; brother, Gerald Rozier, all of Townsend; grandchildren, Preston Giroux, Evan Giroux, Aiden Giroux, Jaryd Bridges, Jaidyn Bridges, and Jiordana Bridges; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Howard Funeral Home of Ludowici, who is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 15, at 2 p.m. at the family home in Crescent, and the family requests casual attire.
