SEUSS ON THE LOOSE

Seuss on the Loose, a fund raiser for the Ferst Foundation for Childhood Literacy, was held last Saturday at Jasper County High School. Hundreds of children came out and had fun at the different booths, playing games, eating hamburgers and drinking soft drinks.

Groups that participated included Washington Park Elementary School, Jasper County Primary School, Piedmont Academy, ML&J Fund for Children, Jasper Memorial Hospital/Primary Care, Monticello Garden Club, Monticello/Jasper County Chamber of Commerce, Girl Scouts, Hamilton State Bank, Bank of Monticello, Heartland Clinic of Chiropractic, Jasper County High School Science Club, Jasper County Mentor Program, Jasper County High School Art Club, Ladies Auxiliary at Jasper Memorial Hospital, Jasper County FCCLA, Jasper County School Nutrition, Jasper County High School HOSA, Jasper County School School FBLA.

Money is used to send books to preschoolers.
