Bertie Joanell Pruitt Worley

Bertie Joanell Pruitt Worley, 71, of Monticello, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014, at her residence.

Mrs. Worley was born in Piedmont, Ala. to Cordia Rogers Pruitt. She moved to Monticello 35 years ago from Atlanta. She loved to sing and loved her family.

She was also preceded in death by one child.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Larry George Worley of Monticello; children, Larry Dwayne Worley and Rhonda Sue Worley; grandchildren, Kristen Nicole Worley, Larry Ray Goodwin, and Tyler Stephon Ledford, and great-granddaughter, Chandler Nicole Hernandez.

A memorial service will be held at Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at 6 p.m. the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Brison will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, from 5 to 6 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home.
