MS Lady ‘Canes Compete

The Jasper County Middle School Lady Canes participated in the Scholar Shot East Metro Holiday Christmas Tournament held in Covington Dec 26-28.

The Lady Canes were fierce in competition winning two out of the three games. The winning scores included a 24-20 win over Peachtree Middle School and a 21-15 win over Edwards Middle School.

The last contest against Lithonia Middle School was hard fought and well contested ending with a loss at the buzzer. The final score was 28-27.

JCMS players Mia Jenkins and Mackenize Tripp were named to the All-Tournament Team.

The squad includes Madison Abbott, Mia Jenkins, Mackenzie Tripp, Mackenzie Abbott, Makya West, Alicia Tripp, I’Keria Reaves, Kerri Bonner, Coach Shakeirra Middlebrooks, Kennethia Hayes, Miracle Smith, and Manager Daisha Pennamon.
